Rev James E. Hall
Born on Feb 28th 1944 in Sedalia MO, Rev James E. Hall later grew up in the San Diego area of CA. Jim
had a heart for social justice and after graduating from college at Cal Western University he went to
Seminary at Iliff School of Theology in Denver and became a Minister in the United Methodist Church.
He served churches in Denver CO, Eagle Mountain CA, Santa Clarita CA, Point Loma CA, Riverside CA,
Yucaipa CA, and Hemet CA. In his ministry he was highly involved with United Methodist camping and
reached many lives with his love and dedication. He retired after over 40 years in ministry and continued
to live in Hemet CA and be in involved in the community there, giving much of his time to Valley Restart
Shelter in Hemet, the local Democratic Club, and the San Jacinto Rotary Club after being a lifelong
member various Rotary Clubs. Jim specifically was known for his love of Charles Shultz’s Peanuts
cartoons and Baseball, especially the San Diego Padres. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy,
parents Marshall Hall and Mildred Louise Hall, and his brothers Joe Bill Hall and Jerry Hall. He is survived
by his daughter Leslie Hall, his son James D. Hall, his stepson Michael Dailey, his grandsons Timothy Hall
and Alex Dailey as well as many other dear family and friends. He will be missed.
